This reading-extraction tool is for home measurement records, care documentation, and integration with health applications. It organizes numbers shown on a device display into results that can be checked. After providing a photo of a blood pressure or glucose meter, the user can inspect the identified measurement type and its values before deciding how to enter them into a health record. Extract separate readings from a photo

• Photo preview: The upload page checks that the selected file is an image and provides a preview, allowing the user to confirm the photo before submitting it.
• Separate readings: Blood pressure results separate systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse; glucose results contain the corresponding glucose reading.
• Continue organising: Results are organized into individual data items for comparison with the original image and for use by a subsequent health or care application, avoiding the need to extract each value from a paragraph of text.

Check errors and common pitfalls

Unrelated photos, files that cannot be processed, and recognition errors return a status or message so the user can replace the image and try again.

• Image clarity: Readings from reflective, blurred, or unclear displays require particular attention, especially decimal points. A returned result is not itself verification.
• Measurement date: When organizing older photos, users should also establish the actual measurement date rather than assuming the processing date is the measurement date.

Scope of single-photo entry

In a care workflow, the tool can assist with one photo at a time: obtain the device image, check the preview, extract the values, compare them with the original, and transfer the checked result into the formal record. Its scope is organizing blood pressure and glucose readings. It does not interpret medical imaging or use these values to make diagnosis or treatment decisions.
