Codex Image brings describing an idea, generating an image, reviewing the result, and organizing past attempts into one workflow for individual creators. It can turn an illustration concept, an image brief for content, or a visual direction into something to inspect before revising the next description. The page shows the current task state, provides a preview and an image link when generation completes, and displays an error when it fails, so the user can tell whether an attempt produced a result.
If an older image has no original description, the history does not invent one.
For work outside the tool, a daily download packages images together with their records. It gathers images that are still retrievable at download time and includes a missing-image report when an image cannot be obtained. This supports archiving a round of creative work and keeping its images and records together for reference. A history link alone is not a permanent backup of the image.
The tool also exposes generation, available-option lookup, and quota lookup capabilities for use by an assistant, allowing an existing assistant workflow to initiate image tasks. Assistant integration requires configuration, and generation and available options depend on the connected service.
I independently designed and implemented the service API, web experience, MCP integration and deployment. Organized generation settings, results, daily history and bundled downloads into one workflow, supporting both direct creation and assistant use with records that can be reviewed and archived.
